Bernard Louedin in his studio   From Rennes where he was born to Trébeurden, where he has settled with his burins and brushes, Bernard LOUEDIN, from his home anchored in front of the sea is really, like a medieval knight, brother of the Graal conquerors, the attentive watchman of our dreams.
Mastering all the techniques of engraving, from the burin to the etching and the dry point, he gives us his creative vision with feelings of his own, but which manage to move us though, thanks to an alchemy probably indebted to Merlin the Wizard.
A complete artist, following the tradition of Rembrandt, Blake and Turner, Bernard LOUEDIN is also a Painter. His carefully chosen palette fills the spacious landscapes of the Landes region with trees and flowers amongst which are flitting objects and feminine characters who, like the fairy Morgane, are transformed by our dreams.
. Bernard LOUEDIN has had individual and collective exhibitions in France, Switzerland, Belgium, the United States… Author of tapestries and illustrator of fine books, LOUEDIN has enriched with original engravings "Venise" by Chateaubriand et "Torchères" by Hervé Bazin in the Editions Carrés d'Art.
