Paul Verlaine - La Bonne Chanson.
Let's dream, it's time.
Rocked by the rumbling of the train taking him
away from Mathilde, the prince of poets, his spirit haunted by his Beloved,
recreates her in his dreams. This verse as simple as wonderful, submitting time
to the rhythm of their heart beats, has been recreated by all lovers.
Hélène
Nué, in 17
engravings on copperplate filled with emotions and sensitivity,
achieves with her first book illustration the miracle of making us forget her
perfect mastery of the
burin, to hear the gentle music of this Bonne
Chanson.
